Overpronation & Foot Mechanics
If your feet roll inward excessively when you walk or run, you may be experiencing overpronation.
Overpronation can contribute to conditions including plantar fasciitis, shin splints, heel pain and other musculoskeletal problems.
Treatment may include changes in footwear, strengthening, physical therapy or orthotics depending on the cause and severity.
Custom Orthotics
Sometimes the way your foot moves is part of the problem.
Custom orthotics may help support the foot, redistribute pressure and improve mechanics for certain conditions.
Podiatry Care for the Whole Family
Foot problems aren't limited to any particular age.
Precision Foot & Ankle provides podiatric care for adults, children and patients with diabetes, including both surgical and nonsurgical treatment options. The practice reports more than 30 years of providing comprehensive podiatric care.
So whether you're concerned about your child's heel pain, an athletic injury, a painful toenail or a chronic condition that's interfering with daily life, we're here to help determine the next step.
Why Patients Choose Precision Foot & Ankle
Specialized Foot & Ankle Expertise
Podiatrists focus specifically on the structures and conditions involving the feet and ankles.
That specialty training can be particularly valuable when pain persists, an injury isn't improving or the cause of a problem isn't obvious.
Conservative Treatment When Appropriate
Not every foot problem requires surgery.
Whenever appropriate, treatment may begin with options such as activity modification, footwear changes, orthotics, physical therapy or other conservative approaches.
When surgery is the best option, Dr. Phillips is trained and board certified in both forefoot and rearfoot surgery.
Care for Simple and Complex Conditions
Some patients come in with common problems such as heel pain or an ingrown toenail.
Others need treatment for wounds, diabetic complications, trauma or complex deformities.
Dr. Phillips' background includes extensive training in trauma and diabetic limb salvage in addition to routine podiatric care.
Convenient Utah County Location
Our American Fork office gives patients in northern Utah County convenient access to specialized foot and ankle care without having to travel far for treatment.
Insurance Accepted at Our American Fork Podiatry Clinic
We know insurance can sometimes be almost as painful as the foot problem itself.
Precision Foot & Ankle accepts most major insurance plans, including:
The practice recommends contacting the office if you're unsure about your specific plan so the team can help verify benefits before your appointment.
